Administration in Detroit must regularly make informed decisions about technology implementation and support. These technology recommendations were supported by a detailed assessment of the advances anticipated in relevant technology and the optimum path for technology utilization in Detroit. JDL Technologies aided in the process by conducting the following projects: comprehensive assessment of the WAN and Central network with a strategic plan for the future; assessment of technology resources in individual schools and an estimate of renovation cost; recommendations for a full suite of policies, procedures and principles for technology systems design, implementation and management; and, reports and white papers for decision support and new technologies assessment. |
