In JDL's first visit to the U.S. Virgin Islands, JDL staff conducted training in how networks work and how to deliver vital resources to education, emergency and health services and government entities that would be as weather proof and reliable as possible in the hurricane zone. The Education Territorial Area Network, ETAN, is now a reality. The combination of wireless and structured wiring has withstood hurricanes and raised the reliability of communication, administration and instructional resources in the islands. JDL designed and deployed a highly advanced wireless infrastructure to network schools across three islands, improving Internet and email services and delivering advanced video conferencing capabilities. |
